Improvisation (optional)
Will be two choruses of “Fast Blues in F” from Jamey Abersold’s Volume 2 Nothin’ But Blues AND then students will play the melody and improvise two full choruses of “Sugar” from Jamey Abersold’s Volume 70 “Killer Joe”. Improvisation is mandatory if you wish to be considered for a solo chair.
