Stephen Wise earned an AA in Broadcasting from Okalahoma City Community College and a BA in Motion Picture Technology from University of Central Florida. He is an award-winning writer and director of six short films that have appeared in various film festivals around the country and on television. He also received awards for two screenplays he co-wrote.
Mr. Wise taught 6th grade Language Arts for three years at Odyssey Middle School before moving to Lake Nona High & Middle School in its inaugural year as its TV Productions teacher. He is currently the sponsor for the Cinematography Club and the Theater Tech Club, and serves as Technical Director for the school's plays.
He has been a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Florida, where he won an Outstnading Service award (1998). He is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 25.
Additional awards Mr. Wise recieved includes the Jefferson Davis Award for outstanding community service (2006) and the Goldenrod Chamber of Commerce Award for Community Service (2007).
